Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about setting up and running your hiring pipeline on Yo!Huddle.
- What is Yo!Huddle?
Yo!Huddle is a modern hiring platform for growing teams. Employers run their entire full-time hiring process in one place: video applications, AI screening, hiring manager reviews, offers, e-sign contracts, and onboarding. Each company gets its own private, isolated workspace. - Can candidates find jobs directly on Yo!Huddle?
Yes. The free candidate portal lets job seekers create one reusable profile with a 90-second intro video, browse a directory of companies hiring, and apply in one click. - How do applications work?
Candidates apply through a public link with their details and a required 90-second video introduction. No account is required for a direct application. A written answer cannot replace the video. - How does the AI screening work?
AI assesses application evidence for role fit and transcribes and assesses video communication separately. Assessments can be incorrect and are not guarantees of suitability. Employers choose their automation settings; meaningful human-review mode requires an authorised administrator to review evidence before rejection or an offer. Historical written-alternative applications always require that review. Candidates can request reconsideration of a hiring decision. - How does Yo!Huddle reduce bias in screening?
Skills-first assessment, Blind Mode and administrator calibration feedback are intended to reduce bias. They do not guarantee unbiased results or remove an employer's duty to evaluate fairness and accuracy. Video communication assessment is separate from role fit, and applicants can request reconsideration of a hiring decision. - Can I involve hiring managers?
Yes. Advisory reviews let you share a candidate with a hiring manager or team lead via a secure link. Reviewers don't need an account, and their feedback is purely advisory: it never changes a candidate's status, so HR or recruiters keep the final call on pipeline movement. - What does 'approve-by-exception' automation mean?
Yo!Huddle moves the happy path forward on its own — sending reminders, advancing candidates and chasing missing steps — and only stops to ask you when something genuinely needs a human decision. - Can I send and e-sign employment contracts?
Yes. You can generate an employment agreement (AI-drafted or upload your own PDF), send it for signature, and collect a legally-clear e-signature — all without leaving Yo!Huddle. - Is my data private and isolated from other companies?
Employer workspaces use tenant-scoped and role-based access. Optional talent-pool, reviewer, university and public-record sharing can give selected recipients access to the information shared with them. Employer retention settings govern workspace cleanup; see the privacy notice for separate candidate accounts, independent employer copies and deletion limits. - How much does Yo!Huddle cost?
Yo!Huddle uses prepaid credits — starting at $1 per credit, with no subscription. Screening a candidate costs 2 credits (including the video assessment), and each active applicant costs 1 credit per UTC calendar month. Packs are 500 credits for $500, 1,000 for $900 (10% off), 5,000 for $4,400 (12% off), and 10,000 for $8,000 (20% off). For larger packs, contact sales. Every new workspace starts with 20 free credits without a card. Screening pauses if there aren't enough credits; your balance never goes negative. - Can I run hiring across multiple offices?
Yes. Multi-office support lets you run one pipeline across several offices or legal entities. Each office carries its own branding and legal name on candidate emails and contracts, and deadlines are calculated in each office's timezone. - How do candidates track their status?
Candidates apply through your public link with a short video. Once they apply, they can create an optional account to track their application status live, view their offer, sign contracts, and complete onboarding tasks. - What happens to personal data after a role is filled?
Employers configure retention and can request erasure. Archiving is not deletion, and cleanup may be retried when storage is unavailable. Candidate-account deletion is separate from an employer's copy; downloaded, emailed and backup copies are not automatically recalled. These controls support privacy handling but do not certify compliance. - How can I make a privacy request or challenge a hiring decision?
Use Privacy requests in your account for access, correction, erasure or another privacy right, or contact hello@yohuddle.com if you cannot sign in. Contact the employer about its independent application records. To challenge a hiring decision, use the application's human-review controls where available or ask the employer to reconsider. Privacy requests are verified and reviewed before a response is released.
